VOOTD (Vintage Outfit Of The Day): "Brand New" Vintage!

Today, I was a Sourpuss Sally. Not sure why. I should be happy, being that I brought in the New Year with my kiddos and my Hubby! But, I just wasn't feeling it. So I thought what better way to perk up than to go VINTAGE? :)


I bought this dress "Brand New".  This vintage find has NEVER BEEN WORN. ( I was TOTALLY GEEKED! It still had the tag on it! How awesome is that?!) 

The dress was made by Susan V. Leonard in Los Angeles, California. I come to find that as with every piece of Vintage I have purchased, they were made in the USA. We as a culture REALLY need to get back to that. Seriously. *serious face* 

I ADORE the fact that it is COLOR BLOCKED stripes! Do you see the Red and Black puffy sleeves? MMMMMMHMM HONEY! I love it! The size states 5/6 but again, it has STRETCH. A LOT of stretch. When I put it on today, I fell in love INSTANTLY. It is very comfortable and lightweight and it was a hit with all of my fellow vintage addicts! :)


I wore it out and about today and I received RAVE reviews! The question was raised, "Where did you get your dress?" The Glammed Griot, of course! ;)
